Dholpur youth brutally beaten for making video of illegal extortion, FIR registered

Dholpur : National Highway No. 44 passing through Dholpur is one of the longest highways in the country, but it remains a center of illegal extortion for the Highway Police and Transport Department squads. While entering the border of Dholpur district of Rajasthan from Agra side of UP, one has to pay bribe to the loading vehicles. This game of robbery takes place in the presence of transport department officers. However, to avoid being noticed, there are private persons working with the department who cover their mouths and make illegal extortion money.

Due to this game there is traffic jam here. A similar incident happened on November 30 last. Some people traveling in a private vehicle from Agra were going to Madhya Pradesh to visit Pitambara Maa. Seeing the illegal recovery from vehicles here, the vehicle riders started making mobile videos. On this, people standing with sticks stopped the vehicle, snatched the mobile phone and started beating the vehicle riders with sticks. Later some people saved them and they escaped. Regarding the incident, the victim, Prashant Kumar, son of Krishna Murari, resident of Sadabad in Hathras district of UP, has lodged a report at Maniyan police station. The report has been lodged after a complaint in the Range IG Bharatpur office.

The victim said in the report that when he made a video of illegal extortion, people standing with sticks stopped his vehicle and snatched his and his relative’s mobile phone after opening the window. They took him out of the car and beat him with sticks and iron pipes. A three star officer was also present at the time of the incident, its name was written on its name plate and Rajasthan Transport Department was written on the vehicle parked nearby. It is alleged that while beating him, these people took him to a room, pressed his neck and beat him with sticks. A constable took out Rs 3500 from his pocket. Broke two of their mobile phones and said what will you do if we extort money every day. During this time, Chowki Injaarch and his relatives and other people, who were passing by the spot, saved him. When the police station incharge arrived, these people threatened them and ran away.

Call the SP…: Some videos of the incident have also surfaced. In this, when the victim tells the transport personnel that he will complain about the indecency to SP Dholpur by phone, the transport personnel are even seen saying that he should complain to the SP. We will do it like this.

Loading vehicle does not pass without illegal recovery

Illegal recovery is done by loading vehicles while entering Dholpur border of Rajasthan district from Uttar Pradesh. The Transport Department squad checks the vehicles here. There are also some private persons who extort money from vehicles. These people hold sticks in their hands. If anyone shows any reluctance, they will be beaten with sticks.

Sports from Sagarpada to Baritha Chowki

If sources are to be believed, the game of illegal extortion goes on openly from Sagarpada outpost located near Chambal bridge in the city to Baritha outpost falling in Maniyan police station area. At night, a transport department vehicle is parked on the side of the road, while some private persons are seen going near the trucks and collecting money. Many times there have been fights over alleged extortion, but this game is not stopping. Complaints have been made regarding this in the past also, but due to the collusion of local and divisional officials, the result till now has been zero.
