‘Rafique is implicating Vikas in false cases’

Ratiram Jakhar, father of former CRPF officer Vikas Jakhar, in a memorandum addressed to the President claimed that MLA Rafiq Khan is using his political influence to implicate his Shaurya Chakra winner son in false cases. Former officer Vikas Jakhar was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting Congress MLA Khan at his residence. He is currently in judicial custody.

‘If the video had not been made, they would have killed my son’

Talking to reporters, Ratiram Jakhar said that MLA Rafiq Khan and his supporters assaulted Vikas Jakhar and suspected that Khan’s intention may be to ‘murder’ Vikas. He said, ‘It is possible that Rafiq Khan wanted to kill my son by mob lynching. If Rafiq had not seen the video being made during the scuffle, they would have killed my son.’ Ratiram said that a video had gone viral on social media, in which it is clearly visible that Khan has slapped Vikas several times. He claimed that with the consent of the MLA, his associates had beaten Vikas.

‘Congress MLAs were harassing my wife’

Sadar police station SHO Balbir Kaswan said that Jhunjhunu resident Vikas Jakhar had reached the residence of Jaipur’s Adarsh ​​Nagar MLA on August 29. Jakhar had a heated argument with the MLA over something and grabbed the MLA’s collar. Before Jakhar could do anything else, the people present there caught him and beat him up. According to the police, former CRPF assistant commandant Jakhar has been arrested on charges of disturbing peace. Jakhar has alleged that the MLA was harassing his wife, so he did this in anger.

‘The motive or background of the accused is not known’

Meanwhile, Congress whip and MLA Rafiq Khan had said, ‘When I was about to leave, someone came and attacked me on my chest. He tried to strangle me and grabbed my collar. I held both his hands and then the supporters and people present there removed him. I did not know about the accused’s intention or background. But only a person with a criminal mindset can commit such an act. The police is investigating the case and only they can tell about his intentions.’
