Jaipur News Desk: On one hand, JDA and Municipal Corporation are renovating roads and beautifying the city in the name of Rising Rajasthan. Rs 200 crores are being spent on these works. Even before Diwali, Rs 100 crore was spent on the maintenance of roads and drains. On the other hand, roads in front of the houses in the city’s colonies are broken. Clouds of dust are flying. People are getting sick. No one is paying attention towards those colonies. There are more than 162 colonies in the city, where the corporation broke the road to lay the sewerage line, but neither the sewer line was laid nor the broken road was repaired. to be done. JDA and Corporation focus only on those roads through which investors will pass. Pratap Nagar, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, Apex Circle, nearby colonies of Jagatpura, Goner Road, Ramnagar, Gorakh Nagar, all the surrounding colonies in Dhaulai, Sikar Road, Chaumanu Pulia, Kamani Road, Jhotwara and other areas have been dug up.

These days, work of laying sewer lines in main roads and various colonies is also going on in Jaipur city. To lay sewer lines, roads ranging from main roads to colonies have been torn up. In such a situation, the dug roads are left in name only. Due to clouds of dust flying over them, life of asthma patients has become difficult. It is also difficult for vehicles to get out. The elderly are not able to come out of their homes. The reason is that elderly people are falling down while walking on these rough dug roads. The situation is such that the roads of Jaipur metropolis are worse than the villages these days.

The road dug 2 months ago has not been built yet

After laying the sewer line, these roads are not being asphalted again. The soil of the dug lines has been disturbed. Due to this, the streets have lost their breath. Ramesh Chand Jangid, President of Miracheshwar Mahadev Development Committee of Pratap Nagar Housing Board Sector-19, Ward 118 of the Municipal Corporation, said that it has been more than two months but the road dug for sewer has not been repaired yet. People are troubled by dust allergy. Here even the soil was not leveled by digging pits for sewer. Walking on foot has become difficult, even vehicles are not able to pass. Houses are also getting dusty due to clouds of dust flying during the passage of vehicles.

Girl injured due to Activa slip

Seema Jhalani of Arihant Nagar Colony of Dhaulai has told that the road here is broken due to sewerage line for about a month. Due to the rough road, my daughter traveling on Activa slipped. He got injured in many places. Here, clouds of dust are flying so much that even breathing becomes difficult. Solution – In the plans made at the zone level in the Corporation and JDA, those works which are left incomplete should be taken up first. But officers are giving priority to work according to their own benefits.
