Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seizes 2 kg 400 grams of foreign gold, two arrested

Jaipur : Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has taken a major action. Where 2 kg 400 grams of foreign gold has been seized. The value of the seized gold is said to be 1 crore 80 lakh rupees. According to the information received, foreign gold was coming to Jaipur via train. In such a case, the railway passenger carrying the gold was caught in Jaipur and the other passenger sitting in the train was caught in Kolkata.

The person who took delivery of the gold and the alleged mastermind are also in the custody of DRI. The gold was being smuggled in small pieces near the waist belt. It is being told that this foreign gold was smuggled from Bangladesh. Information was received about the removal of foreign mark on the gold in Kolkata. After this, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has arrested the people involved in the case. All the four accused were produced in the court on Wednesday. The court has sent them to judicial custody for 14 days.
