Disappointed with losing the elections, but we will definitely make a comeback: Anand Dubey

Mumbai, November 25 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey spoke to IANS on Monday. He has reacted on many issues including the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections.

After the legislature party meeting called by Uddhav Thackeray at his residence Matoshree, Anand Dubey said that 20 MLAs have been elected from across Maharashtra – 10 from Mumbai and 10 from different districts of Maharashtra. He said, “We are definitely disappointed by losing the elections but we will make a comeback and will make a great comeback.”

How will the leader of the opposition be chosen? On this, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT) has said that as the leader of the opposition, we wanted 29 seats. But the public has given us only 20 seats. The government feels that in a democracy, if there is a role of Leader of Opposition, then they can show big heart, but if they are narrow minded then they will not make them the Leader of Opposition.

He said that the government of BJP and Mahayuti is not bigger than the people. This is the policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he wants to see an opposition-free India. If he wants to see an opposition-free India, he will not find a leader from the opposition party. If he accepts the Constitution, we will definitely get a leader of the opposition.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said that the party is mulling over the defeat. We need to do something. Elections cannot be lost because of one or two things, there must have been 10-12 things due to which the elections were lost.

There is a ruckus in Maharashtra regarding the next Chief Minister. On this, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT) has said that this is their matter and it is not right for us to speak. We just want that 13 crore people should develop.

On the questions being raised on EVM, Anand Dubey said that he does not want to say anything about it. Maha Vikas Aghadi will form the government here in the year 2029.
