Division of ministries in Maharashtra government, Fadnavis has the charge of Home, Shinde has the charge of urban development, Ajit Pawar has the charge of finance.

Nagpur, December 22, (IANS). In Maharashtra, the Fadnavis government has allotted departments to the ministers. Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Saturday approved the allocation of portfolios to ministers as per the recommendation of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The list has been released after the conclusion of the week-long winter session.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has kept the Home, Energy and Law portfolios with himself. Ajit Pawar has been given the responsibility of Finance Department. Whereas, Eknath Shinde has been assigned the Urban Development and Public Works Department.

Revenue to Chandra Shekhar Bawankule, Industry to Uday Samant, Higher and Technical Education to Chandrakant Patil, Forest to Ganesh Naik, Environment to Pankaja Munde, Medical Education to Hasan Mushrif, Water Supply to Gulabrao Patil, Water Resources to Radha Krishna Vikhe Patil, Dada Bhuse. School Education to Ashol Vikhe, Tribal Development to Pratap Sarnaik, Food Supply to Dhananjay Munde, OBC Development to Atul Save, Sanjay Shirsat has been given the responsibility of social justice and Bharat Gogwale has been given the responsibility of employment department.

Let us tell you that on December 15, 39 ministers of Mahayuti had taken oath. These included 19 ministers from BJP, 11 from Shiv Sena Shinde faction and nine from NCP Ajit Pawar faction.

It may be noted that the grand alliance of BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) had won 236 out of 288 assembly seats in the state. While the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance of Congress, Shiv Sena’s Uddhav faction and NCP’s Sharad Pawar faction had won only 49 seats.
