Chardiwari market in particular is famous all over the world for its Diwali decorations. This time the markets have been decorated on different themes, due to which the fragrance here has further increased.
From today, lights will remain shining in the entire walled market for seven days. Lighting has been switched on in all the markets, and as the evening approaches, crowds of people are gathering for shopping. Tourists also come here from far and wide to see this grand decoration.
Decoration will be theme based
This time every part of the walled market of Jaipur has been decorated on different themes. The logo of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ has been prominently displayed on MI Road. This time indigenous lights have been used instead of Chinese lights. Six gates have been made for entry on MI Road and around 11,000 bulbs have been installed across the market. Tableaux have been decorated on the theme of Ayodhya every 20 meters.
Lighting has been done on various themes from Ajmer Gate to Chhoti Chowpar, while Ashok Vatika and Egyptian Pyramid have been built before entering Chandpol Bazaar. For the first time, the markets have been decorated on the theme of temples, with tableaux presented in the form of Shri Ram Temple, Mahakaleshwar Temple and Tirupati Balaji Temple on the lines of Ayodhya. All the markets have been decorated with colorful LED lighting and strings of golden bulbs.
