Jaipur : The fourth edition of Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart, organized jointly by Rajasthan Tourism Department and Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan, was inaugurated. It was inaugurated by Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. On this occasion, Diya Kumari said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for tourism is very farsighted. It was due to his efforts that French President Emmanuel Macron visited Jaipur and Jaipur got highlighted on the world tourism map. She said that we will soon launch a new tourism policy in Rajasthan.
Tourism facilities will be developed
The Deputy Chief Minister called for maximum investment in the tourism sector in Rising Rajasthan being organized in December. He said that we will promote ease of business for tourism related business activities in Rajasthan. We will develop roads, rail, air facilities for tourism here. The works for which we will lay the foundation stone, we will inaugurate them too. Work is being done with this objective in mind. He said that Maharana Pratap Circuit is being built at a cost of 100 crores. Khatushyamji and many temples are being developed from the tourism point of view. We will provide both security and convenience to the tourists. He said that work will also be done towards including the mansions of Shekhawati in UNESCO’s World Heritage Site.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Rajasthan has been a centre of attraction due to its history and magnificent architecture, historical heritage, religious places. Modern tourism facilities will be developed along with heritage conservation here. He said that the original form of heritage should not be tampered with. Secretary to Government, Tourism, Art, Literature, Culture and Archaeology Department, Ravi Jain said that the Deputy Chief Minister has a very deep and brilliant vision in tourism, on the basis of which a bright future of tourism is seen in Rajasthan. From the tourism point of view, Rajasthan is a stronghold of not one but many specialties. Rajasthan’s tourism is rich. Rajasthan can become the world leader in the field of tourism only by developing facilities around tourist places. Special attention is being given in this direction to provide facilities to businessmen, tourists and employers coming to Rajasthan from the country and abroad, and all efforts to promote tourism in RDTM will be realized. Local people benefit from the arrival of foreign tourists as well as domestic tourists and employment opportunities also increase due to tourism.
