DLC rates in Ajmer district increased by up to 40 percent

Ajmer News Desk: After the recommendations of the District Level Committee (DLC) in Ajmer state, buying and selling of property will now become more expensive. On an average it has been increased by 20 to 25 percent. In many districts, due to location or geographical conditions, this increase has even reached 35 percent. DLC rates have increased in Ajmer district after almost five years. Deputy Registrar, Ajmer, the increase is considered to be 10 to 30 percent in the first and about 18 to 40 percent in the second. Inspector General of Registration and Stamps Department, Ajmer had sought proposals in this regard from various districts. In the district wise proposal, the rates were determined on the basis of importance of the city and many other reasons. In this, the rates have also been increased according to the distance from the main road, National Highway. In this, there is a difference in rates according to the distance from 100 to 500 meters. In rural areas, this difference will also be seen between agricultural and non-agricultural or irrigated and non-irrigated land.

300 meter requirement removed

People of rural areas will benefit from the new provisions. Till now, DLC of any structure, tin shed etc. up to 300 meters from the highway was taken on the basis of the highway. That is, commercial amount was charged till this distance, now the new DLC will be applicable only on the constructions adjacent to the highway. Commercial rates will not be applicable on agricultural land within 300 meters.

Rates have been increased by 25 percent on agricultural and residential land and 20 percent on commercial land located on National and State Highways and Mega Highways in 12 villages. Increase from 5 to 25 percent in slums, backward colonies, developing and developed areas.

103 zones and 27 villages have been covered. The DLC rate for agricultural land on the main road along the National-State Highway is 30 per cent up to 100 metres, 20 per cent up to 200 metres, 10 per cent up to 500 meters and 30 per cent for plots at a distance of more than 500 metres.
