Bharatpur : Hisar Police has taken an important action against cyber fraudsters in Mewat area of Deeg district of Rajasthan. Let us tell you that cyber fraudsters of Kaman police station area trapped a doctor from Haryana in the trap of sextortion and defrauded him of Rs 1 crore 34 lakh. After getting information about the incident, yesterday Hisar SP and a team of 60 policemen raided Paldi village and detained 18 cyber fraudsters. These include 4 women as well. The police raided Paldi village at 3 o’clock in the night, causing a stampede in the village. At the time of the raid, the cyber fraudsters were sleeping in their homes. But on seeing the police, they started running towards the fields. The team showed promptness and surrounded and caught a total of 18 cyber fraudsters including 4 women. The police team from Hisar included 20 female policemen and 40 male policemen.
Raids after questioning the accused
According to the Kaman police station officer, the accused named Nasir and Haider were already taken into custody. After their interrogation, a raid was conducted in Paldi village. Nasir and Haider had made a doctor from Hisar a victim of sextortion and transferred the cheated amount to the accounts of their relatives living in Paldi. The cyber thugs had cheated the doctor of Rs 1 crore 34 lakh by threatening him in installments.
They were duping the doctor since August 12
In this case which started on 12th August, first of all the fraudsters sent a photo of a burning pyre of a girl to the doctor by posing as fake CBI officers. They said that the girl has died because of you. The cyber fraudsters tried to intimidate him. Out of fear, the doctor gave the money. Later when he came to know that he has been cheated, he informed the Hisar police and the police raided last night.
