Doda poppy was being sold under the guise of a hotel on Jalore Highway, accused arrested

Jalore : Chitalwana Police Station and DST team took joint action and arrested an accused under NDPS Act. 20 kg 100 grams of illegal doda poppy was recovered from the possession of the accused. Sanchore SP Gyanchandra Yadav said that he had received information from the informer that illegal doda poppy was being sold at Krishna Hotel located on National Highway-68. On information, police and DST team raided the spot. During the search, 20 kg 100 grams of doda poppy was recovered from the possession of Rugnathram Vishnoi (38), resident of Parava, who was present in the hotel. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act. Police are interrogating the accused to find out from where the Doda poppy was supplied and where it was to be sold.
