Jammu, November 14 (IANS). National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Tarun Chugh had a special conversation with IANS on Wednesday. During this, he gave a strong reaction against Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and National Conference (NC) leader Farooq Abdullah.
Responding to Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement, Tarun Chugh said, “Kharge Saheb has forgotten that Article 370 and 35A cannot be reinstated now. Congress should take a clear stand in this regard. Is Congress still in favor of Article 370 and “Does she love Article 35A, which shackled Jammu and Kashmir and deprived the rights of people, especially the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes?”
He said that after the abolition of Articles 370 and 35A, the Constitution made by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was implemented in Jammu and Kashmir. He reminded that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was a dictator who spread anarchy in the country during the Emergency, closed newspapers and turned the country into a prison. The country can never forget the pain caused by Indira Gandhi.”
Responding to Farooq Abdullah’s recent statement, Chugh said that those who attack the citizens of the country and kill innocent civilians will not be spared at any cost. They will get harsh punishment. Such people “should either be in prison, or their place is in the grave”.
He said that this situation is necessary to maintain the security and unity of the country and any kind of violence will not be tolerated. Chugh reiterated that those who take up arms and stand against the country will be punished for their actions.
