Rajsamand : Dog bitten 14 people in a single day in Nathdwara town of Rajsamand. This incident which took place in Manak Chowk of the town created chaos. CCTV video of this incident, which took place between 7 and 8 pm on Monday night, has also surfaced. These days, stray dogs are creating terror in Nathdwara town. Due to which, fear of dogs has arisen not only among the local people here but also among the devotees coming outside. Every day 5-7 cases of dog bites are being reported in the hospital. On Monday night, a dog bit 14 people including visitors in Manak Chowk of the town.
More than 50 dog bite cases in 5 days
Doctor Vinod Kumar of Nathdwara Government Hospital said that 14 cases of dog bite were reported simultaneously on Monday. Everyone was bandaged and given anti-rabies injections. More than 50 dog bite cases were reported in the last 5 days. Doctor Vinod Kumar said that 23 cases of dog bites were registered on 5th December, 13 cases on 6th December, 8 cases on 7th, 6 on 8th and 14 cases on 9th.
A devotee who came from Gujarat to see Shrinathji told that after the darshan, he was shopping in the market on Monday night. Then a dog attacked him and bit him at several places.
Local councilor Dinesh M Joshi said that there are cases of stray dog bites in the city. On Monday night, two-three dogs bit several people in the Chowpatty area of the city.
As soon as this information was received, the city council was informed. Now the council will take action to catch these stray dogs. People have also been appealed to be cautious of dogs in the market.
A total of 14 dog bite cases were reported on Monday, of which 2 were female and 12 were male. In Nathdwara Hospital, Yashwant (68) son of Mohan Lal, Lokesh (57) son of Pannalal, Himanshi (17) son of Gamer Singh, Narottam (64) son of Gopi Lal, Bharat (50) son of Kashinath, Jigar (46) son of Hari Vallabh resident of Baroda. Including 14 people reached the hospital and got treatment.
