Doing politics on the issue of religion, caste and appeasement is no solution: Shaina NC

Mumbai, November 14 (IANS). Shiv Sena leader Shaina N.C. In a special conversation with IANS on Thursday, he expressed his reaction on the controversial statements of Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole. Shaina NC termed the rhetoric of both the leaders as part of appeasement politics and meaningless comments.

Shaina NC reacted to Kanhaiya Kumar’s statement in which he had accused him of doing appeasement politics in the name of protecting religion. He said, “What is Kanhaiya Kumar himself doing? Doing appeasement politics just for the votes of one community, it does not suit any leader. By raising the issue of Muslims and Dalits personally, doing only vote bank politics.” “Can’t do the work of any true leader.” He further said that if the opposition has a vision then they should talk about it and not spread hatred in the society by making personal comments.

Shaina NC Advised Kanhaiya Kumar that he should focus on the real issues of the people instead of just making meaningless statements. He also said that doing politics on the issue of religion, caste and appeasement is not a solution and should be ended.

Shaina NC reacting to Nana Patole’s ‘dog’ statement. Said that the opposition has been limited to words like dog, goat or “imported goods”. If you only talk in this kind of language then there is no future for your politics. The narrative of electoral politics cannot be limited to such cheap words only.

He said that public issues should be discussed in elections and not such objectionable and bad words should be used. He further said that if the opposition talks only about dogs, goats and “imported goods”, then their condition will also be the same.

Shaina NC Finally appealed to the citizens to cast their vote on 20th as it is their fundamental right. He said that it is very important to vote. If you don’t vote, then you can’t raise questions.
