Kota : On completion of one year tenure of the Kota state government, various programs will be organized at the state and district level. Preparations are being made by the district administration regarding the programs. When we investigated what big announcements were made in Kota district in the last one year and what was their ground reality, it came to light that many big announcements are still running in the files. One and a half dozen development works were started and lands were allotted. Now preparations are underway to start the work.
The expansion of Bhamashahmandi was announced in the state budget. In this, the market is to be expanded on the forest department land adjacent to Indraprastha industrial area. This project will be done under Land for Land. Its filing has not progressed at present. It was announced to build a new stand in the city. Two bus stands are already operational in Kota. A separate charging station is to be built in Subhash Nagar for electric buses. Land was allotted for this. There is a situation of doubt regarding the new bus stand. It was announced to install a linear accelerator in the cancer department of MBS Hospital, its budget is also awaited. Of all the budget announcements made in the district, the files of Kota Greenfield Airport are moving the fastest. The central and state governments are preparing to launch the airport project soon. Most of the formalities have been completed. It is proposed to lay the foundation stone in the new year.
