Jaipur : Police has registered a case against Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara and other Congress leaders. Dotasara expressed his displeasure at the IG. He tweeted on ‘X’ and made serious allegations against the IG. He said that does the BJP want to scare us with fake cases?

Dotasara tweeted on ‘X’ and wrote, “Does the cowardly and fearful BJP want to scare us with fake cases? Do they have the courage to take 1 or even 100 cases and go to jail for fighting for public issues? IG sahab, don’t tarnish the pride of the khaki uniform by wearing the BJP uniform. The uniform is not for showing off, but for public service.”
Dotasara had demonstrated on 24 June
Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara had protested on 24 June. He had threatened the Kota IG. He had said that he should mend his ways, otherwise even Bhajanlal and Om Biral would not be able to save him. The very next day of the protest, the police registered an FIR.
Congress leaders lodged two FIRs
Two FIRs have been registered against Congress leaders. The first FIR includes the names of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara, leader of opposition Tikaram Julie, MLA Ashok Chandna, Chetan Patel and CL Premi. While the second FIR includes the names of Congress leaders Prahlad Gunjal, Naeemuddin Guddu, Moizuddin Guddu, district president Bhanu Pratap Singh and others.
Congress workers had demonstrated at the Circuit House and Collectorate
On the call of the state Congress, workers of Kota-Bundi Lok Sabha constituency demonstrated at the Circuit House and Collectorate on Monday. Various issues were raised in the demonstration, one of which was the cancellation of NEET exam. During this, Congress leaders and workers tried to enter the Collectorate by removing the barricades installed by the police at the Collectorate intersection. There was a long debate and scuffle between the police and the Congressmen in this matter. Later the police dispersed the crowd with water cannon. Despite this, Congress leaders were gathering in front of the barricades.
