Jaipur : Rajasthan Pradesh Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BJP government led by Bhajan Lal Sharma, saying that bureaucracy is dominant in the state and it is not clear who is running the government. The Congress state president told reporters here, ‘I feel that the bureaucracy has cast black magic on the Chief Minister. He keeps roaming around (going from place to place), keeps giving speeches. We have no objection, but the people of Rajasthan have made him the Chief Minister, even though he was made by slip, but he is the Chief Minister of all of us. He will have to work.’ After the party got the mandate in the assembly elections last year, Bhajanlal Sharma’s name was announced through a slip in the BJP legislature party meeting.
‘Farmers, youth, unemployed, Dalits, all are sad’
Dotasara said, “People are worried. Farmers, youth, unemployed, Dalits, all are unhappy. Give employment to the youth. Put the criminals in jail.” He claimed that no significant work has been done in the last ten months and MLAs and MPs have been sidelined. The State Congress President said that the youth are desperate for employment, while the farmers are waiting for water and electricity. Expressing concern over the law and order situation in the state, Dotasara said that the Chief Minister should hold a meeting with the officials and give instructions to maintain law and order. Sharma also has the charge of the Home Department.
‘Confused as to who is running the government’
He said that people are confused about who is running the government and the Chief Minister should clarify this through his work. Earlier, Dotasara held a meeting of the state executive and district presidents of the state social media and digital platform at the state headquarters of the party.
