Due to Alwar fog, 8 trains reached the district late by 2.14 hours, passengers worried

Alwar : Alwar The effect of snowfall in the hilly areas of North India including Kashmir and other places is visible in the city. Now the cold has started increasing in the district at night. There was fog in the Aravali hills and outer areas on Thursday morning. The minimum temperature of the city on Thursday was recorded at 9.2 degrees and the maximum temperature was 26.8 degrees. Compared to the previous day, a drop of 0.8 degrees in the maximum temperature and 2.4 degrees in the minimum temperature was recorded on Thursday.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of clear weather on Friday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI air quality index of Alwar remained from 112 to 119 between 12 pm on Wednesday to 6 pm on Thursday. Due to fog, 8 trains coming to Alwar on Thursday were delayed by 2.14 hours. According to Railways, Bareilly-Newbhuj Alhazrat Express was delayed by 2.14 hours at 5.22 pm, Prayagraj-Lalgarh 1.58 hours late at 11.53 am, Jaipur-Bathinda Express 1.47 hours late at 10.28 am, Sultanpur-Sabarmati Express 40 minutes late at 9.32 am, Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express 35 Minutes late at 6.40 pm, Sabarmati-Delhi Ashram Express arrived 33 minutes late at 7.10 am, Jaipur-Rewari special train 21 minutes late at 12.29 pm, Bhiwani-Mathura train arrived Alwar 18 minutes late at 10.03 am.

Due to this, passengers traveling towards Jaipur and Delhi by rail faced problems. On the other hand, Railways has decided to install 5 additional coaches in 3 trains for the convenience of passengers during winter holidays. In Ajmer-Amritsar Express, one additional coach each of executive air-conditioned chair car will be installed from Ajmer from 2nd to 30th December and sleeper class from Amritsar from 3rd to 31st December, in Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Garib Rath from 1st to 31st December. Delhi Sarai Rohilla -Jodhpur Sampark Kranti train from Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 4th to 25th December while from Jodhpur from 5th to 26th By December, one additional coach of Third AC and two additional coaches of Sleeper class will be installed. Railways has given stoppage of Ajmer-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express train at Kishangarh station on experimental basis as per further orders. Ajmer-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express will arrive at Kishangarh station at 6.40 am and depart at 6.42 am from December 1.
