Due to heavy rains in Karoli, the wall of the ancient rampart collapsed, roads were flooded, car was washed away

Karauli News Desk: Rain is now falling like a disaster in Karauli. The wall of the ancient rampart collapsed in the Sainath Khidkiya area at the district headquarters. The debris of the damaged rampart fell on a Pataur Posh house, luckily a major accident was averted. The debris broke the strips of the roof of the Pataur Posh house. No one was in the house during the incident. The incident is said to have occurred at 3 am in the morning. Civil Defense and SDRF team reached the spot. The people of the area were advised to be cautious and stay at a safe place.

At the same time, a car was swept away in the flow of a drain in Karauli, luckily a major accident was averted. The SDRF team reached the spot, the civil defense team and the police rescued both the people in the car and took them out safely. The incident is being reported from the Radheshyam Farm House area on Holi Khidkiya Keshavpura Marg at the district headquarters. The road was waterlogged during the rain at night. The car was swept away in the flow at around 12 o’clock at night, luckily the car stopped after getting stuck in the obstructions. The people in the car somehow informed the police control room. ASP Shankar Lal, DSP Anuj Shubham reached the spot with SDRF, police force and civil defense. SDRF, civil defense team and police personnel took out the car riders after a lot of effort.
