Due to heavy rains, the inflow of water in Mahi dam has increased, a wave of happiness among farmers

Banswara : With the beginning of Sawan in Banswara district, the farmers are also happy due to heavy rains in the monsoon. On the other hand, due to continuous heavy rains in rural areas, many bridges were flooded and traffic was disrupted for several hours. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Kesarpura (6.5 inches), Kushalgarh (6.25 inches), Sallopat (6.25 inches), Sajjangarh (4.5 inches), Danpur (4.25 inches). Due to continuous monsoon rains, water has started flowing into Mahi Dam, one of the largest dams in the state.

Four to five feet water flowed in Tini river

Due to heavy rains in Aabapura area, there was heavy inflow of water in the Tini river passing through Veerpur. Due to this, the Aabapura to Bajna road remained closed for more than five hours. Due to this, people on both sides of the bridge had to wait for the water to subside. Also, due to the high water level on the Veerpur culvert, a sheet of water of about four to five feet flowed. Due to which people had to face problems in commuting on the road from Aabapura to Veerpur, Jharaniya, Boria and adjoining Madhya Pradesh.

The roof of the house fell on the woman

Due to continuous rain, people are facing a lot of problems in the entire district. A woman died after being buried under the roof of a Kavelu Posh house in Paniyala village. On this accident, the family members said that the woman had gone inside the Samsu house to tie the goats. At that time, due to sudden heavy rain, the roof fell on her. This led to her death.
