Due to negligence of administration in Bharatpur, X-ray machine worth Rs. 8 lakhs is gathering dust, patients are forced to go hundreds of kilometers away for examination.

Bharatpur : Rajasthan government may be spending crores of rupees to improve health facilities, but the patients are having to bear the brunt of the negligence of the district medical department. The matter is of Rudaval CHC of the district, where the X-ray machine worth lakhs of rupees, which was installed by the former MLA from his MLA fund 2 years ago, is gathering dust due to non-operation of the equipment. Due to which patients have to get X-ray done outside at expensive prices. According to the Joint Director of the Medical Department, the machine does not have any equipment, due to which it could not start.

Despite having a machine, one has to go far away to get X-ray done

Local resident Rahul told that the hospital operated in town Rudawal is the largest CHC center in the area. People from more than 50 villages come here for treatment. Due to lack of X-ray machine in this CHC center, patients were facing a lot of trouble. Because of this, people used to go to the district hospital or private center 50 kilometers away to get X-ray done. Keeping this in mind, 2 years ago, former MLA Amarsingh Jatav, in earnest, got an X-ray machine installed from MLA Kota at a cost of Rs 8 lakh. But due to lack of equipment the machine could not be started till now. Due to which patients have to get X-ray done at the district hospital or private centres.

The local public representative, district administration and medical department have been informed about this problem. But this machine has not been able to be started yet due to the equipment not arriving. Dr. Gaurav Kapoor, Joint Director of the Medical Department, says that Rudaval is not a device of the X-ray machine installed at the CHC. Whose demand has been sent above. The machine will start as soon as the equipment is received.
