Teacher shortage in entire Rajasthan
People reached the spot on the information of Asind police station. Education Officer Vijay Kumar said that after taking cognizance of the incident of lockout in the government school, we have made alternative arrangements and are appointing staff in the school. We have appointed a teacher for 21 days, whom we will regularize later. At the same time, we have employed three additional teachers from nearby schools for four periods. Public Education Officer Vyas also said that what should be done, there is a shortage of staff in the whole of Rajasthan… but we all will have to find a solution together.
Why was the school locked?
The villagers have already raised their voice twice before to the education department officials regarding the shortage of staff in Dhauli School. But there was no solution. CBO came to Asind twice and was informed. But the teacher has been appointed and that too for a month. There are still 7 to 8 teacher posts vacant in the school. On receiving the information, education department officials came and talked to the angry villagers and students. After 3 hours of struggle, the villagers calmed down after assurance of deployment of staff and the locks of the school gate were opened.
