Dungarpur : Large scale irregularities are coming to light in the process of adjustment of surplus teachers from Mahatma Gandhi Government School and newly upgraded government higher secondary schools. With the release of the lists, there has been an uproar in the teacher community and teachers organizations are warning of lockout and agitation. In the name of adjustment, the department has changed the blocks of teachers. Besides, teachers have also been thrown 50 to 100 kilometers away. In such a situation, voices of protest have started being raised from all sides due to these transfers made in the name of adjustment in the middle of the academic session.
Director’s instructions air-air
Before the adjustment lists were released, Education Director Ashish Modi had taken VC on November 14 and later. After this, for the third time, Acting Secondary Education Director Sitaram Jat also gave clear instructions to post as many teachers as possible in their schools and respective blocks. But, in the lists released on Saturday in the district, the instructions of the Director have gone in vain.
Preliminary list also released
The Primary District Education Officer office also released the list on Monday evening. In this, 121 teachers of the district have been adjusted in elementary education. According to the list, there are 46 teachers of third class level-1, 47 teachers of level two, five teachers of level-1, 13 teachers of level-2, five teachers of physical education, one senior teacher, three parateachers and one education worker. .

State Vice President of Rajasthan Teachers Association National Dr. Rishin Chaubisa, District President Balwant Bamania, General Secretary Dilip Singh Chauhan and District Vice President Rajendra Singh Chauhan said that there have been irregularities on a large scale in the adjustment lists in the district. Whereas, the department had given clear guidelines. Many teachers have been sent to a distance of more than 40 to 50 kilometers away from the present school. Injustice has also been done to widows and single women. The department should immediately review the adjustment order and provide relief by withdrawing the arbitrary order. Teachers union Shekhawat has warned of agitation. Provincial Vice President of the union, Hemant Kumar Kharadi said that the Education Department has been allotting schools for a long time only through counseling in promotion, surplus and new postings. But, this time the arbitrary order is raising questions on the entire process. If the lists are not canceled soon, the organization will agitate.
