Dungarpur : A nursing student living in Manak Chowk of Dungarpur city drank acid. When his health deteriorated, his elder sister brought him to Dungarpur Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU and treatment was started. The reason for the student drinking acid has not been revealed. Ruplal Bairwa, daughter of Nikita (18), resident of Dausa district, currently lives in a rented room in Manak Chowk of Dungarpur city. His elder sister also lives with him. Nikita is a second year B.Sc Nursing student at Dungarpur Medical College. After waking up on Tuesday morning, Nikita drank acid, due to which his health deteriorated. He started vomiting. Seeing this, her elder sister immediately brought her to Dungarpur Hospital, where after examining Nikita, she was admitted to the ICU.
Doctors started trying to get the acid out by inducing vomiting. At the same time, his medicines were also started. The girl’s father does painting work in Dausa. Nikita is smart in studies, but the reason why he drank acid is not known. Doctors are currently describing his health as serious.
