Dungarpur cooperative purchase center closed due to lack of warehouse

Dungarpur News Desk has been closed for the last three days due to lack of warehouse in Dungarpur Cooperative Procurement Centre. Due to which the farmers are facing problems. Thousands of farmers of Sagwada, Galiyakot and Oberi tehsil are waiting for a long time for the sale of soybean crop. On October 14, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh met the District Collector and discussed it. In the meeting, a request was made to open government procurement centers at every tehsil headquarters of the district for the purchase of Kharif crop soybean and paddy for the farmers. The district administration and the state government started procurement centers in Sagwara, Aspur and Dungarpur in the district.

800 farmers did online registration

So far, 800 farmers of Sagwara, Galiyakot and Oberi tehsils have registered online for selling their soybean crops at the procurement center of Sagwara.

Sagwara purchase center started purchasing from 18th November. So far, soybean of 150 farmers has been purchased at the purchase center, after which the RFC warehouse available in the purchase center Sagwara and Banswara has been filled.

Due to this, Sagwara procurement center has been closed for the last three days and thousands of farmers are waiting for the sale of their crops. Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has informed about this problem by giving a memorandum to MLA Shankarlal Decha.

The District Collector has been requested to communicate with the government as soon as possible and make a big warehouse of RFC available in Dungarpur or Banswara and once again start a procurement center for the farmers in Sagwara.
