Dungarpur : Dungarpur State Government is making a lot of efforts to make students aware of physical and health education. But, since last five years, students of classes 9 and 10 are not getting health and physical education books in government schools of the state. In such a situation, students are forced to appear in the examination without books. The situation is such that the department has not even been able to declare the syllabus of these subjects. Every year, according to the enrollment of school students, the state text book board is also demanding books. But, books are not available from the board.
Now the confusion increased…
Teachers who teach health and physical education in classes 9th and 10th also have the same problem. Since they do not have books, they are finding online courses and reading material to make their children memorize them. In earlier years, under the district common examination system, local teachers used to take the examination of students on the basis of the syllabus taught by them. Grade system is given in the results by the department. Now the half yearly examination is to be organized soon. Now there will be a similar examination system at the state level, in which students are confused about how they will be able to give question papers without textbooks. State Vice President of Rajasthan Teachers Association National Dr. Rishin Chaubisa and spokesperson Rajendra Singh Chauhan said that the education department has kept the long-term goal in mind. Have added these topics. Despite this, non-printing of books is a matter of concern. It is not appropriate to conduct examinations and give grades to students without books. Demand for books is being sent every year. But, the book is not coming. There are problems. This problem will be raised prominently when there is a meeting at the directorate level.
