Dungarpur : Dungarpur Sadar and Cyber Police have busted a gang involved in cheating in the name of escort service and arrested six accused. Police said that on the information of the informer, the team of Sadar and Cyber Police reached Manpur village. Here some youth were chatting on mobile. Seeing the police they started running. On which the police surrounded and caught some youth, detained them and took them to Sadar police station. When the police checked his mobile phone, it was found that he was cheating people in the name of escort service. On this, the police arrested Sakani resident Ishwar son of Kachru Patidar, Hitesh son of Nathu Patidar, Kathdi resident of Velji son of Khemji, Bodigama Badi resident of Chetan son of Dayalal, Parada Jani resident of Jitendra son of Gangji and Tejeng son of Manilal. At the same time, the police also recovered 13 mobile phones from the accused.

Police said that the accused used to upload obscene photos of girls online through mobile app in the name of escort service. On the basis of these photos, when the concerned youth contacted them, they used to extort money from him in the name of service. Police said that during the fraud, the accused used to use the amount coming into the account and the SIM used for work in someone else’s name. Police are interrogating the accused in detail. The search for the remaining accused has also been started.
