Dungarpur : Dungarpur Executive Officer Hanuman Singh Rathod on Tuesday reached the progress work of Gram Panchayat Deval Khas through Google Map on the asphalting road and construction of gravel road till the house of Kava Rupsi in the current fortnight. During inspection it was found that a total of 64 workers were employed on seven muster rolls. The attendance of 40 workers was recorded through NMMS app. But, during inspection, only 17 workers were found present at the work site. The mate was also absent at the workplace. The muster rolls of MET issued by Program Officer Panchayat Samiti Dungarpur were also found to be blank. The mate’s name was not written.
Not even signature on muster roll
Sandeep Manat, present at the work site, said that the operator of the Panchayat Samiti had provided the muster roll directly, it was not signed by any competent officer. The muster rolls issued from the Panchayat Samiti level reached the work site in the afternoon. It was not entered in the muster roll issued and received register in the Gram Panchayat. There was no work allocation in groups of 5 on the spot and the workers did not have any tools available for the work. CEO Rathore also reached Gram Panchayat Deval Khas.
Junior assistant missing without notice
Village development officer Ramchandra was found here. Junior assistant Vijay Lakshmi working here was found absent. The Village Development Officer said that he has not sent any application for leave. Only in the afternoon informed on telephone for not being present. On getting information about NREGA records of Gram Panchayat, the Village Development Officer said that the records of seven registers and employment register are in the cupboard of the junior assistant. He has the key to it. The CEO directed all the Gram Panchayat employees, Village Development Officer, Junior Assistant and Junior Technical Assistant to be present in the CEO office on Wednesday at 10 am with complete records.
