Dungarpur : More than 1 lakh 80 thousand people taking benefits of National Food Security Scheme in Dungarpur district have not got their e-KYC done. The Food and Civil Supplies Department has given such people time till December 31. At the same time, the names of people who do not get e-KYC done by this period will be removed from the National Food Security List. They will be deprived of the benefits of the food security scheme.
Logistics Department Inspector Pushpendra Singh said that the government had given instructions to get e-KYC done for the people included in the National Food Security Scheme. Under which, after August, September, October and November, the date has once again been extended to 31st December. Inspector Pushpendra Singh said that in Dungarpur district, 11 lakh 82 thousand 301 people with 2 lakh 87 thousand 469 ration cards are included in the National Food Security Scheme. Out of this, till now 10 lakh 2 thousand 19 people of 2 lakh 80 thousand 615 ration card families have got their e-KYC done, but e-KYC of 1 lakh 80 thousand 282 people of 6 thousand 854 ration card families is pending. The department has given time till December 31, 2024 to the people pending for e-KYC. At the same time, the names of people who do not get e-KYC done by this period will be removed from the National Food Security List and they will be deprived of the benefits of the Food Security Scheme.
