Dungarpur : Dungarpur Dhambola – On Thursday, two girl students who were crossing the road after getting off the bus were hit by a speeding bike on Merop road in Seemalwada. The collision was so strong that one student died and another was injured. Who was taken to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Where after first aid he was referred elsewhere. The girl students were alighting from the bus and going to college, when the accident happened. According to the information, Hemlata, daughter of Dhanpal, resident of Katara, Bhilwa Panchela, and Bhavana, daughter of Shivlal, resident of Koted, Banksia, had left home to go to college on Thursday morning.
At around 10 in the morning, she got down from the bus and was crossing the road to go to college. Meanwhile, a bike came at high speed from Dhambola side. The bike rider hit the girl students. Due to which Hemlata Katara died painfully on the spot. Whereas Bhavna Coated was seriously injured and was taken to Simalwada Health Center. Where after treatment he was referred elsewhere. The accident was so serious that after the collision, the youth riding the bike jumped and fell into the fields. The two girl students who were hit also fell away. On receiving information about the incident, Police Officer Rizwan Khan, Head Constable Dharmendra, General Information Officer Karan Bhatt reached the spot and started further action.
The student was studying in the second year
Deceased Hemlata was studying in the second year of college. She was the eldest among one brother and two sisters. Along with keeping the body in the mortuary, the police have registered a case and started investigation. The villagers mentioned the number of accidents happening every day and demanded strict action in such cases.
