Dungarpur siphon soldered damaged, water flowing wastefully

Dungarpur : The intention of the Water Resources Department to provide water to the villages of Tel through canals seems to be unfulfilled. The situation is such that without knowing the ground conditions, claims are being made about smooth water supply in the canals. In such a situation, the siphon stitch in Ramata Patiya agricultural circle of Gol village is broken. Due to which the farmer is worried about what the situation will be like in future.

This is the situation

Under the command of Aspur Branch Canal of Som Kamala Amba Dam, agricultural areas like Hupra, Ramata Patiya and Bah etc. are being irrigated from Gol Minor in Head village Gol. At the same time, there is a main road from Gol to Vijwamata in between to take the water of Gol Minor to Ramata Patiya, through which siphon stitches are made in Hupada and Ramata Patiya to pass the underground water. But due to damage to the siphon line of Ramata Patiya for a long time, most of the water gets wasted from here during irrigation. Due to this, due to lack of full pressure in the movement of water in the fields connected to this tank, there is shortage.

Dungarpur. To ensure that fertilizers are available to the farmers of the district at reasonable prices, officials of the Agriculture Department of the district conducted a surprise inspection of fertilizer and seed sellers on Tuesday. Under Rabi Quality Control Campaign, Assistant Director of Upazila Sagwada, Vimlesh Kaler inspected the input vendors in Bhiluda, Khadagda, Ghata village, Jogpur and Abada Gram Panchayat. Notices were issued to two vendors when irregularities were found. Sub District Dungarpur Assistant Director Chhidda Singh, Agriculture Officer, Vinod Kumar Patel and Additional Administrative Officer Pujyapal Nanoma inspected the input vendors in Gram Panchayat Badgi, Chitri, Galiyakot, Gadajasrajpur and issued a notice after finding irregularities. Besides, input sellers were restricted to sell fertilizers at fixed prices and issue bills.

These are the circumstances

During inspection, other irregularities were revealed including non-availability of stock register manton, non-display of board, non-display of stock, difference in stock of register and POS machine. On this, a notice was issued to them and instructions were given to improve the arrangements. Chhidda Singh, Assistant Director of Sub District Dungarpur, said that in Gadajasrajpur Leps, the farmers had alleged that the middle amount was taken more here. Investigation found that earlier subsidy of 200 quintals of wheat seeds was allotted in Leps. This seed was made available to the farmers at the rate of one thousand rupees per 40 kg. Even after this, due to the demand of farmers for seeds, 200 quintals of seeds were again ordered from Leps. This time this seed was made available to the farmers at the price of Rs 1650. Because subsidy was not available on this seed. The team also inspected a fertilizer shop. Here the fertilizer price list was not mentioned by the shopkeeper. At the same time, difference was found in the stock of register and POS machines. The team also issued a notice to the shopkeeper regarding this.
