Dungarpur stubble is spoiling the climate of the area, increasing pollution

Dungarpur : be it Delhi or big cities of Bihar or Rajasthan, these days the smoke from stubble burning is polluting the environment and making the common people sigh. These days, the climate of the area is continuously deteriorating due to burning of stubble at various places. Farmers preparing for Rabi crop in the villages of the region are forced to dispose of the remaining Kharif crop waste i.e. Palali. After burning the stubble, the smoke travels long distances with the wind and pollutes every area. Due to which people are holding their breath. Burning of stubble produces sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, which are very harmful for humans as well as animals and birds. The climate of the area is also deteriorating due to burning of stubble.

In Bankora town, garbage can be burnt anywhere to dispose of it. Which also contains plastic. Burning garbage will be seen especially outside the PMShree Government Higher Secondary School park at the bus station. This smoke reaches the classrooms of the schools.

Farmers should not burn stubble. Burning stubble is not only spreading poison in our climate but we can also collect it and use it in our own fields as fertilizer. Compost is made by mixing 80 percent straw and 20 percent fresh cow dung. The stubble is cut into about 8-10 cm length and piled up and cow dung is mixed in it. After this, organic culture is added. This method is simple and effective, in which good organic fertilizer is prepared within 4 to 5 hours. Farmers themselves can use this organic fertilizer in their fields. The fertility of the field will remain intact due to which the crop yield will increase and the environment will not be harmed.
