Sirohi : The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Rajasthan is constantly taking action against corrupt government officials. However, despite this, corrupt officials are found to be involved in corruption. On Wednesday (September 4), the ACB team raided the locations of RTO Inspector Surendra Singh Chauhan working in Sirohi. ACB has raided 6 locations of the RTO Inspector in Sirohi and Jaipur. ACB has taken action against the RTO Inspector in the case of disproportionate assets.
The ACB team raided the flat of RTO Inspector Surendra Singh Chauhan in Sirohi for about 6 hours. The ACB had received information that Surendra had earned a lot of property through corruption. Verification was done after receiving the complaint. When the verification was found to be correct, an FIR was lodged against Surendra on Tuesday (3 September). On September 4, raids were conducted at his Sirohi and Jaipur locations.
Huge wealth found with RTO inspector
ACB raided the places of RTO Inspector Surendra Singh Chauhan working in Sirohi. During the raid, ACB found out about Surendra’s immense wealth. During the search operation conducted at 6 places in Jaipur and Sirohi, ACB found documents of 5 residential and commercial lands, agricultural land worth Rs 48 lakh in Tonk, 5 storey commercial building in Ambabari Jaipur. Apart from this, Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) worth Rs 6 lakh, jewellery worth Rs 5.5 lakh, 1 bank locker 9 bank accounts, Rs 1.5 lakh cash and documents of foreign trips have been recovered. These documents have revealed property worth crores of rupees so far. This property is more than his income.
ACB had received secret information
Actually, ACB had received a secret complaint against Surendra Singh Chauhan. ACB’s intelligence branch gathered secret information on the complaint. The intelligence branch found the complaint to be true, after which the team obtained a warrant under the supervision of ACB’s Deputy Inspector General Randhir Singh. After that this action was taken. ACB DG Ravi Prakash Mehara said that action is going on against accused Surendra Singh Chauhan. The action is being carried out under the leadership of ACB’s ADG Smita Srivastava. Further efforts will be made to trace his other hideouts and properties.
