Mumbai, November 19 (IANS). Vikrant Massey starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’, based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat, is being praised across the country. A large number of spectators are coming to watch the film. Meanwhile, producer Ekta Kapoor has also come to watch the film.
Ekta Kapoor will watch the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ with Haryana Chief Minister, Ministers and MLAs. During the conversation, Ekta Kapoor said, “We have made the film in the name of Ram ji, now we have his support only. Everyone is liking the film full of truth.”
Ekta Kapoor further said, “The film became a blockbuster on the day PM Modi tweeted his praise. She said that I had made this film because I wanted the true story to be revealed through the film and those who were treated unfairly should get justice. Our film is getting good response in all the states.
Referring to the popular dialogue of the film, Ekta said, “No matter how long the period of lies is, it is only the truth that changes it, be it a person or a country, it is only after falling that one recovers.” Meanwhile, on the question of making the film tax free in the states, Ekta said, “It is more important that people watch the film than making it tax free, the more people see it, the more they will come face to face with the truth.”
Meanwhile, let us tell you that Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra’s film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been made tax free in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The film has been praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai. At the same time, actor Vikrant Massey met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
‘The Sabarmati Report’ is based on the fire incident in Sabarmati Express. This incident took place on February 27, 2002, in which 59 people died due to burns. Actresses Raashi Khanna, Vikrant Massey and Riddhi Dogra are in lead roles in the film and all three are playing the role of journalists. Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, Vikir Films, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. This film is released in theaters on 15 November.
