Bikaner : Recognition elections of Bikaner Railway Employees Unions will be held from 4th to 6th December. 47 thousand railway personnel of North-Western Railway will participate in this. Preparations for the elections for recognition of unions have been completed by Uttaran-Western Railway. North-Western Railway has set up 84 booths in Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur division for the elections for recognition of unions. 23 booths have been made in Bikaner division. The results of these elections will be declared on December 12. In the elections, voting will be held regarding recognition among 4 organizations. Out of these, 2 unions will get recognition which will be able to raise the interests of railway employees for the next five years. The recognized organization will be authorized to discuss the interests of the employees with the Railways.
Out of the 23 booths made by Bikaner division, two booths each have been made at Bikaner station and Lalgarh railway station. Under the supervision of North-Western Railways General Manager Amitabh, Chief Personnel Officer PK Singh completed the preparations for the elections for recognition of unions. December 6 has been fixed for voting for running staff at various places. One presiding officer each has been nominated in Ajmer and Jodhpur factories.
12 lakh voters across the country, 9633 voters in Bikaner division
Around 12 lakh railway employees from across the country will vote in the elections for recognition of railway unions. There will be 47 thousand employees of North-Western Railway in this. In this, 9633 employees of Bikaner division will also use their votes. In Bikaner division, 966 railway employees of Bikaner railway station, 899 in Lalgarh, 842 in railway workshop, 214 in Lunkaransar and Kolayat, Sridungargarh will also cast their votes. Railway employees of Kolayat will be able to cast their vote in BAP.
