Electricity workers protested against Sriganganagar privatization on Monday.

Sriganganagar : Jodhpur Employees protested in Sriganganagar on Monday against the privatization of various services in Discom. A protest was organized here at the sub-division level. Apart from this, the employees also submitted memorandums to the SE and administrative officers. Separate protests took place at various sub-division levels.

Employees said that various works are being privatized one after the other in Jodhpur Discom. This is not okay in any situation. These people said that work in power generation, transmission and distribution is continuously being given to private hands. If the functioning of the corporation comes into private hands, the facilities currently available to the common people will reduce. In this regard, Rajasthan Electricity Joint Struggle Committee had protested earlier also, but no action has been taken till now.

In the protest held across the district in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan Electricity Workers Federation (BMS), Provincial Electricity Board Workers Federation (INTUC), Rajasthan Electricity Workers Federation (AITUC), Rajasthan Electricity Workers Unity Federation (CITU), Rajasthan Electricity Technical Employees Association, Power Engineering Association, RSEB Engineering Association, Electricity Engineering of Jodhpur Discom, Rajasthan Electricity Employees Federation, All Rajasthan Electricity Employees Federation, Electricity Employees Federation, Rajasthan Electricity Accountants Members of the union, Rajasthan State Electricity Ministerial Employees Union, Rajasthan Electricity Ministerial and Subordinate Employees Union and Employees Manjdoor Union cooperated.
