Bharatpur : An encounter took place late on Monday (November 4) night between the cattle smugglers and the QRT 5 team of the police in the forest in the Bayana Sadar police station area of Bharatpur. Taking advantage of the darkness the cattle smugglers escaped. But, the QRT-5 team captured a truck and freed more than 25 cows. All the cows have been sent to a cow shed in Bharatpur city. Cow smugglers have caught more than 100 cows in the forest for cow slaughter. After getting information from the informer, QRT 5 team raided and carried out the action.
There were more than 5 cows in the truck
Surgyan Singh Meena, in-charge of QRT 5 team, said, “Information was received from the informer that in the forest of village Khohra of Bayana Sadar police station, cattle smugglers are loading cows into trucks. And there are a large number of cows. As soon as the information was received, they reached the location. The cattle smugglers saw the police and fired 2 rounds, taking advantage of the darkness and capturing a truck. All the cows have been freed and sent to the cow shed of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation.
More than 100 cows are tied in the forest
Cow smugglers have tied up more than 100 cows in the Khohra forest. These cows will also be sent to some cow shelter or the other. On October 27, QRT 5 team took action against cow smugglers near village Bar Peepal of Gahanauli Mode police station area and freed 28 cows.

Bharatpur SP Mridul Kachhawa has formed QRT 5 team to stop the incidents of cow smuggling and take action against the cattle smugglers. This team is continuously taking action against cow smugglers.
