The process is taking one month: To get a disabled certificate, one has to apply online. After this, one has to first appear before the medical board at Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital. From here again one has to come to the CMHO office and get it done online. This process takes one month.
Certificates will be available online on Swavalamban portal: Earlier certificates of disabled people were issued through SSO ID. This system has been discontinued from March 1, 2024. Now Swavalamban portal has been created for disabled certificate. All the previously made disability certificates are being linked to it. New disabled certificates will now be made from the Swalamban portal only. There is a problem due to work on the server.
