Jaipur : The lives of people of ward no. 86 of Meena Colony located in Durgapura are getting worse. Because a local woman has turned her house into a garbage dump. For her own pleasure, the woman is collecting garbage from the depot and collecting it on the roof and stairs of the house. This hobby of the woman is proving to be a burden for the people living nearby. She has been collecting garbage for the last one year. She does this work only between 1 am to 5 am. The people living nearby have to pay for this hobby. Garbage is entering the house with strong winds. Due to rain, a foul smell is spreading in the locality due to which it is becoming difficult to sit outside. Not only this, the doors and windows of the house have to be kept closed throughout the day. The elderly have breathing problems and there is a risk of infection spreading among children. Gradually, insects have also started growing in the garbage. Gradually, diseases have started occurring due to this.
Local residents have tried to convince the woman many times. For the last few months, letters have been written to the SDM, police, municipal corporation and health department, but no action has been taken so far. The SDM sent this matter to the local police station. But the police is refusing to take action on this. Municipal corporation officials said that we can only collect garbage from the depot and not from the house. The CMSO said that we will take action only when someone falls ill. The administration is refusing to take responsibility for this problem. After all, who will take responsibility for this and whom should we go to? For the last few months, the woman has been collecting garbage in the open on the roof of the house. When the garbage gets wet in rain water, there is a foul smell throughout the day.
