Excise department destroyed 3600 liters of Lahan in Sriganganagar Anupgarh

Sriganganagar : Excise Department is continuously taking action against adulterated liquor in Anupgarh district by running a special campaign. Today, the Excise Department, while patrolling in various villages of Anupgarh area, destroyed about 3600 liters of Lahan buried in the ground on the spot. Along with this, raw furnaces have also been demolished. EI Prashant Nain of Excise Department said that while taking action in various villages, smuggled liquor has also been recovered. However, no accused has been arrested on the spot yet. EI Prashant Nain of Anupgarh Excise Department said that District Collector Awadhesh Meena had given instructions to take action against illegal handcraft liquor.

He said that in compliance with the instructions of the Collector, action has been taken in three villages of Anupgarh district today. He told that the first action has been taken in village 6P of Anupgarh. Here 10 liters of smuggled liquor has been recovered and 100 liters of liquor buried in the ground has been destroyed on the spot. The second action was taken in village 22 MD of Ghadsana. Here 3 thousand liters of liquor kept buried in the ground was destroyed on the spot. Four raw furnaces were demolished on the spot. The Excise Department took action in village 7 KND of Rawla and recovered 5 liters of smuggled liquor and destroyed 500 liters of liquor on the spot.
