At the same time, two smugglers including the container driver have been arrested. The accused were smuggling liquor from Haryana to Gujarat under the guise of plastic pots. Police is interrogating the accused. Bichhiwada police station officer Kailash Soni said that blockade was being done on Ratanpur border. During this time, information about liquor smuggling was received through an informer. On which a container coming from Udaipur was stopped. On asking the driver for his name and address, he told his name as Delhi resident Naginder Rai and his companion told his name as Mukesh Singh, Haryana resident.

When information was taken from the driver about the goods in the container, he told that there were plastic pots in the container. When the police searched the container, they found cartons of expensive brand liquor hidden in the container. Police recovered seven cartons of expensive brand liquor from the container. At the same time, a case has been registered under the Excise Act and both the accused have been arrested. The value of the seized liquor is said to be around Rs 2 lakh 80 thousand.
