Madhubani, 26 November (IANS). On Tuesday, on the occasion of Constitution Day, the Indian Constitution was released in Sanskrit and Maithili languages. People expressed happiness over this step of the government and said that this will lead to the development of both these languages and people who speak and understand these languages will be able to study the Constitution and assimilate it.
It is noteworthy that on Constitution Day, 26 November, President of India Draupadi Murmu released the Indian Constitution in Sanskrit and Maithili languages in the presence of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Mithilanchal are feeling very happy and proud on the release of the Constitution in Maithili language.
He said that after including Maithili language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, today it was released in Maithili language by the President of India, it is a matter of great pride and happiness for us. Madhubani’s Professor Dr. Ashutosh Sinha and Professor Dr. Kanakab Mishra said that this initiative of the government will promote regionalism. Now people who speak and understand Maithili will be able to study the Constitution and understand it. This will increase their understanding of the Constitution. They will be able to play a more effective role in the progress of the country. This effort of the government is very commendable. People of Maithili language express their gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for this. This shows the government’s intention to promote regional languages.
