Most of the private universities are not following the PhD Regulation-2022 prescribed by the UGC. A huge amount is collected from the research scholars, but the research quality and facilities provided to them are not being provided. Due to this, recently UGC had exposed the distribution of fake PhD degrees in some private universities of Rajasthan. After that, UGC Deputy Secretary Dr. Anmol M Andhra recently issued a circular to all the universities of the state to prevent fake degrees. Have done. After this, some private universities came into action and started uploading information on their websites, but the portals of many private universities have not been created yet. The ones made are also not updated. There are a total of 53 private universities in Rajasthan. Of these, only 4 universities have 12B status.

The researcher should be selected through entrance examination or interview before the research committee.
It is mandatory for the researcher to undergo regular research course work and examination for 6 months.
Only regular faculty of the department can become research supervisors. A retired person cannot become a supervisor.
As per the UGC pay matrix, it is mandatory for regular faculty to pay Assistant Professor Rs 15600-39100, minimum entry pay Rs 57700, Associate Professor Rs 37400-67000 minimum entry pay Rs 131400 and Professor Rs 67000-79000 minimum entry pay Rs 182200.
The research supervisor should have been selected as per the screening committee and UGC regulation.
Assistant Professor 4, Associate Professor 6 and Professor 8 can register the research scholar.
Research Advisory Committee should be constituted and should be examining the researchers from time to time.
It is mandatory for the Research Director to have minimum 15 years of teaching experience and API score of minimum 120.
