Famous Rajasthani folk singer “Mange Khan” died at the age of 49, mourning prevailed

Jaipur : Jaipur: Famous Rajasthani folk singer Mange Khan has passed away. Mange Khan breathed his last at the age of 49. It is being told that Mange Khan had recently undergone heart bypass surgery. Mange Khan was very famous not only in the country but also abroad for his Rajasthani folk singing. He had performed more than 200 musical programs in 20 countries. Now after his demise, his fans are remembering him. While many veterans have expressed deep condolences on his demise.

Mange Khan passed away on 10 September 2024. His fans used to call him Manga. He was the most famous singer of the Manganiyar community. Mange Khan has sung popular songs like Bole To Mitho Lage, Amrano, Ranaji and Peer Jalani along with his fellow members of the Manganiyar Trio band, Sawai Khan and Magda Khan.

Manganiyar becomes global ambassador of music
The Barmer Boys made their debut in 2011 with a performance at Sirifort in Delhi. They later became global ambassadors of Manganiyar music, which blends elements of Sufism with Rajasthani folk music and classical music traditions.

Apart from different parts of the country, Mange Khan has also performed in many countries like Denmark, Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

Ashutosh Sharma, Founder of Amarras Records said, “Mange’s passing has left a void that cannot be filled. He was a dear friend, and a wonderful soul with an exceptional voice. His tragic death at such a young age is a great loss not only to his family and us but to the music world as well. A voice that cannot be replaced.”
