Churu : Farmers have benefited by selling moong at the support price purchase rate of Rs 8682 per quintal under the Kharif marketing year 2024-25 in Churu Purchasing-Sale Cooperative Society. Now farmers are bringing groundnuts to the market and the rate of purchase of support price groundnuts has been fixed at Rs 6783 per quintal by Rajfed.
Bags of peanuts came to the committee: Chief Executive Officer of the committee, Aaqib Javed said that 48802 bags of peanuts have arrived in the cooperative society, in which till now a total of 442 farmers have been benefited in peanuts. 517 farmers have benefited from the same 15137 bags of Moog. A total of 959 farmers from both have been benefited. Tokens are issued to 100 groundnut farmers regularly. Moong limit has been reached. So far 725 tokens of groundnut have been issued, out of which 442 have been weighed. Farmers are continuously being issued tokens and are continuously submitting their documents.

He told that the contract between the land owner and the sharecropper will be valid only for one commodity. Agricultural land owners and tenant farmers should get their crops cleaned and dried and brought as per the prescribed procurement standards, so that they do not face any kind of problem. Giving information about the necessary documents for the sale of commodities, he said that Aadhar Card, Jan Aadhar Card, Original Girdawari, Bank Account Passbook and Registration are necessary. He said that farmers must get a copy of the computerized bill after weighing the commodities.
