Jaipur : Congress in Rajasthan has termed the issue of press note giving gifts to farmers on the first anniversary of the state government as a violation of the election code of conduct. In the complaint sent to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, a demand has been made to take action from the Election Department. In the complaint on behalf of Congress, it has been said that the Information and Public Relations Department issued a press note announcing gifts to the farmers on completion of one year tenure of the state government, which is a violation of the election code of conduct. The Chief Electoral Officer has been requested to take action in this matter.
