Farmers’ protest in Jalore continues for 13th day

Jalore News Desk: A massive protest of farmers is going on for 13 days in Jalore on the call of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh demanding water. On Saturday, a farmer’s health deteriorated. Other farmers present there took him to the hospital, where after treatment he was discharged today. But instead of going home, the sick farmer reached the protest site, lay down there and talked about protesting until the farmers did not get their rights.

In fact, the farmers are protesting demanding to fix one-third share of Jalore on the water of Jawai Dam and to get crop insurance claims on time. Farmer Vagaram, who was present at the protest for the last 6 days, suddenly fell ill on Saturday afternoon. Other farmers present at the protest site took Vagaram to the hospital. Where after treatment, when his health improved, the doctors discharged him on Sunday and advised him to rest at home. But instead of going home, they returned to the protest site.
