Jhunjhunu News Desk: A team of 38 progressive farmers visited KVK Abusar and Dadiya (Sikar) under the Non Watershed Project funded by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Ramakrishna-Jayadayal Dalmia Seva Sansthan and run by Village Watershed Committee Malupura. . Project Manager of the institute, Bhupendra Paliwal said that this tour group was organized mainly with the aim of adopting innovations in the garden and demonstration farm under the project. In this tour group, mainly progressive farmers were selected who can promote farming in the future by conserving water by adopting the latest agricultural technologies. So that in case of water crisis, especially marginal and small farmers are not deprived of basic facilities related to their livelihood and living. The touring team was sent under the leadership of Agriculture and Forestry Coordinator Shubendra Bhatt.

Bhatt said that KVK scientist Dr. Dayanand, while sharing his views with all the farmers, informed them to do farming through innovation in view of the decreasing water level. Also provided information by showing the cultivation of tomato in polyhouse, cultivation of cabbage in greenhouse, as well as the orchard of plum, sweet drumstick, napier grass and Tharshobha Khejri planted there.
