New Delhi, December 8 (IANS). The farmers protesting at the Shambhu border tried to march to Delhi again on Sunday. A group of 101 farmers moved towards Delhi from Shambhu border, but Haryana Police personnel fired tear gas shells at them, after which the march was postponed.

It is being told that many farmers have been injured in this, the condition of one of them is critical. He has been admitted to Chandigarh PGI. After this, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher called the farmers back. He attributed this to the injury of a farmer. He said that the injured farmer has been admitted to PGI.

Pandher told IANS, “An injured farmer has been admitted to PGI, a meeting is going on for further review. The situation will be informed to you after the meeting. Today’s batch has been withdrawn. Today’s meeting is postponed.” Many farmers have been injured, the wind is blowing towards us and one farmer has been admitted to PGI. Considering all these circumstances, it has been decided to return.”
