Jaipur : After dengue havoc in the state for almost two months, now due to cold at night and heat during the day, patients suffering from asthma, cold, fever and allergy are reaching private and government hospitals. Change in weather is affecting the health of children. Many children are being brought to JK Lone Hospital in critical condition. These days the OPD of JK Lon Hospital is running beyond 2 thousand. Most of the patients suffer from seasonal diseases.
So far, 900 children suffering from dengue and about 150 children from scrub typhus have reached JK Lone Hospital. But since last seven days, more patients suffering from asthma, allergy and respiratory symptoms are coming to OPD. Meanwhile, the graph of dengue increased so rapidly that between September 26 and October 18, 4200 new cases have been reported in the state and 1200 in Jaipur. During this period, 1200 new patients have been found in Jaipur district.

Doctors of the Medicine Department of JK Lone Hospital said that effects on liver and brain are also being seen in many children. Many children are even reaching unconscious state. Such patients are taking 10 to 20 days to recover.
Need to take care of small children: After dengue and malaria, now patients are coming with asthma, allergies and respiratory problems. Their numbers will increase as winter progresses. In such a situation, there is a need to take care of small children.
